Welcome to the Morgantown City Fire fighters
home page, currently we have 3 stations, 45 full time fire fighters and
3 staff officers. Each station houses an engine company and the main station
houses an additional ladder and heavy rescue company. We currently
operate a first response program but do not transport patients. Our current
ISO rating is Class three. Recently we have been involved in a major
reorganization of the fire department. What this involves is that
each member specializes in at least two technical teams. These teams
are Fire/Arson Investigation, Specialized
Rescue, Haz-Mat, SCUBA/Water Rescue, Computer Programming, Public Relations
and Code Enforcement. Information about these teams is available,
such as SOP's, training and progress.
